This key-holding supervisory role supports store leadership in managing donations, inventory, and day-to-day operations that keep the ReStore running efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Research, accurately ticket, and safely move merchandise to the sales floor in a timely mannerCollaborate with store leadership on priorities, timing, and placement of incoming donationsSupervise donation drivers during loading/unloading activitiesEnsure safe handling of merchandise according to policies and proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient store environmentIndependently open and close the store and perform cash handling proceduresOperate the cash register as needed and complete accurate reports and end-of-day documentationProvide constructive feedback, encouragement, and motivation to staff, volunteers, and team membersDemonstrate a positive, respectful, and professional attitude with all customers, donors, volunteers, and staffWhat We’re Looking For:Strong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced retail environmentExperience with inventory, merchandising, or supervisory responsibilities is a plusCommitment to excellent customer service and a mission-driven workplaceEducation/Skills:Basic computer skillsBasic math or POS experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsManagement and Customer Service experienceShow initiativePhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to move merchandise throughout the storeAbility to perform repetitive movements over long periods of timeAbility to lift 50lbs. without assistanceAbility to work flexible schedule, including evenings, Saturdays, and periodic holidaysAbility to obtain Forklift Certification and operate a forklift on a regular basisAbility to climb steps to Forklift cabInternal Interactions: Habitat StaffExternal Interactions:CustomersVolunteersDonorsHomeownersLevel of Authority:Requires minimal supervisionAbility to engage and motivate staff as well as hold team members accountable in conjunction with store managementReport to the Store ManagerEstimated Time Commitment: 40+ hours/week.
