Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning with their unique needs and aspirations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote healing and recovery.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient records.

Your primary focus will be on individuals suffering from mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will provide compassionate care in a therapeutic setting, offering support to a diverse clientele, including individuals from underserved populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Proficiency in establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach towards all clients' experiences and struggles.

• Solid organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseloads and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
