Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess their mood disorder symptoms, focusing on the intensity, frequency, and duration to better understand their therapeutic needs.

• Develop customized treatment plans that reflect clients’ unique goals and circumstances. This may involve incorporating different modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders and available treatment options, empowering them to engage in self-care practices that support their mental health journey.

• Monitor and document client progress regularly, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to integrate care strategies tailored to individual clients’ needs.

• Stay informed on the latest research related to mood disorders and therapy techniques, actively implementing new strategies to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintain meticulous client records in line with legal and ethical standards, and engage in case consultations and team meetings to foster collaboration.

• Champion client advocacy initiatives, raising awareness around mental health stigmas while addressing the unique needs of your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will focus on working with clients experiencing emotional distress related to relationship issues, particularly divorce and family dynamics. Our client base includes diverse individuals seeking assistance in handling life transitions, communication problems, and emotional support. Cultivating a safe and nurturing space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings will be central to your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is essential for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
