Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning strategies with their individual goals and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address client needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary for optimal care and outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic patient care.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to continually refine treatment approaches.

• Maintain accurate and secure client records in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. This role also provides an opportunity to work with vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse.
