Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments by performing preliminary interviews and collecting comprehensive documentation from the first consultation through to treatment conclusion.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, ensuring a holistic understanding of their needs.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment and recovery plans particularly designed for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s progress.
\n
• Monitor and assess client progress throughout their treatment plan, making adjustments as needed to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with mental health specialists, including social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to create comprehensive intervention plans.
\n
• Engage in follow-up consultations with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients who may require hospitalization.
\n
• Identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder recovery, providing strategies for both clients and their families to manage challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. The diverse client population ranges from adolescents to adults, ensuring a rich experience that enhances your ability to address varied mental health needs effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• Successful completion and pass score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with a genuine empathetic nature towards clients.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of prior experience in a mental health counseling role.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR.
\n
• Experience in identifying and dealing with both underlying physical health conditions and co-occurring addiction disorders.
\n
• Understanding of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of common psychotropic medications and their impacts on mental health clients.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our organization offers a competitive annual salary ranging between USD 80,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
