Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role will be performed onsite in our rehabilitation center, where collaborative teamwork is emphasized. You will work alongside two additional physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a setting dedicated to orthopedic outpatient care. The conducive environment ensures that you can effectively manage a patient caseload while utilizing advanced therapeutic tools and methodologies to support optimal recovery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of new patients to establish their rehabilitation needs and set achievable goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize various therapeutic techniques, promoting patient engagement and adherence.
• Provide cost-effective therapy modalities that enhance movement and function, while reducing reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Maximize patient mobility through tailored exercise regimens and manual therapy techniques.
• Document treatment sessions meticulously using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with health regulations and organizational standards.
• Regularly assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet individual needs.
• Motivate patients throughout their recovery journey and promote a healthy lifestyle that emphasizes strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR platforms, with a preference for experience with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating ability to manage patient care effectively.
• Expertise in manual therapy and a proven track record in developing and executing successful exercise regimens.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
