Salary: $140,000 - 170,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree with 4 years of cloud engineering experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 8 years of cloud engineering experience.
• We are looking for at least 5 years of systems engineering or infrastructure administration experience.
• We need 3+ years of hands-on OpenShift and Kubernetes administration experience.
• We expect experience supporting production container platforms in enterprise environments.
• We want a strong background in Linux system administration.
• We require technical proficiency with Red Hat OpenShift or other Kubernetes distributions, Docker or container runtime technologies, Operators, OpenShift Pipelines, GitOps, and Argo CD.
• We need experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Linux performance tuning, Linux security hardening, and shell scripting.
• We expect skills in Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Git, and Bash or Python scripting.
• We want familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, as well as virtualization technologies such as VMware.
• We require knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, SSL/TLS certificates, network policies, routing, and firewall concepts.
• We value experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK/EFK, and the OpenShift monitoring stack.
• Preferred certifications include Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator, RHCE, CKA, CKAD, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes, or cloud certifications from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• We install, configure, administer, and support Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform clusters.
• We manage the full cluster lifecycle, including upgrades, patching, maintenance, and capacity planning.
• We monitor cluster health, performance, and resource usage.
• We administer OpenShift components such as worker nodes, control plane nodes, Operators, ingress controllers, routes, projects or namespaces, and persistent storage.
• We troubleshoot and resolve platform incidents and service interruptions.
• We support Kubernetes workloads running on OpenShift.
• We configure and manage deployments, services, ingress, networking, and storage.
• We observe containerized applications and platform services for operational issues.
• We analyze and resolve pod, node, networking, and storage problems.
• We apply workload optimization and resource management best practices.
• We administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.
• We handle server provisioning, patching, hardening, and performance tuning.
• We monitor operating system health and security compliance.
• We support virtualization and infrastructure environments hosting OpenShift platforms.
• We build and maintain infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Git.
• We automate routine administrative and operational tasks.
• We support CI/CD integrations and deployment automation.
• We assist development teams with application onboarding and deployment.
• We implement and maintain security controls for OpenShift clusters.
• We configure role-based access control and security policies.
• We manage secrets and certificate lifecycles.
• We support vulnerability remediation and compliance efforts.
• We collaborate with security teams to meet enterprise standards.
• We monitor platform availability and performance with enterprise tools.
• We configure alerts, dashboards, and reporting metrics.
• We participate in on-call support and incident response.
• We perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• We maintain operational runbooks and technical documentation.

We are hiring a Systems Engineer III for an OpenShift/Kubernetes platform administrator role that can be performed remotely and is open across multiple U.S. markets. In this position, we build, automate, maintain, and optimize highly available container platforms while partnering closely with DevOps, Cloud, Security, and Application Development teams to deliver reliable and scalable services. We offer a base salary generally between $140,000 and $170,000, with actual pay based on skills, experience, location, and other lawful factors. Total compensation may also include incentives, bonuses, benefits, and other awards.
