Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Bradenton, Florida. The work environment is lively and supportive, promoting collaboration among our physical therapy team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical capabilities and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs, focusing on achieving optimal outcomes.
• Treat a varied caseload of patients including those with orthopedic injuries, pediatric cases, neurological disorders, and sports-related concerns.
• Provide patient education and training to both patients and caregivers to foster autonomy and informed decision-making regarding their treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in accordance with best practices.
• Facilitate a broad range of techniques and modalities as dictated by the patient's specific conditions, always aligning these methods with the physician's plan of care.
• Engage with your colleagues in interdisciplinary discussions to optimize patient care and continually improve service delivery.
• Meet or exceed utilization targets and contribute to the clinic's overall business objectives.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with patients and team members.
• Proficient in word processing and familiar with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for patient documentation.
• Ability to build strong relationships with patients, enabling them to achieve and exceed functional goals.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
