Description - Specifically Your Role

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following clearly established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, address any errors, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and properly prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all lab procedures, provide training to newer staff or students, and help ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe laboratory environment while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, paired with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of starting.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of your employment.
