Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique mental health needs of clients.

• Provide consultation on pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavior management strategies, risk assessments, and medication management strategies.

• Complete documentation compliant with regulatory standards and guidelines in a timely manner, ensuring seamless care delivery.

• Employ evidence-based screening tools to accurately assess client needs and track progress.
\n
• Collaborate closely with clinical teams to implement positive behavior support plans that reflect best practices in mental health care.

• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.

• Serve as a liaison for clients and community resources, advocating for necessary services and communicating effectively with local and state agencies as well as community partners.

• Establish and nurture professional relationships with various service systems to enhance program visibility and secure potential funding opportunities.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through conferences, workshops, and representing Life Change Behavioral Center at relevant meetings.

• Contribute to the overall mission and values of the organization through direct practice and participation in community outreach initiatives.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work predominantly with adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders, as well as with individuals overcoming developmental disabilities and those affected by brain injuries. Your role will be essential in guiding these individuals through personalized interventions aimed at improving their quality of life and promoting long-term recovery.
