Overview We are seeking a talented culinary professional to lead our kitchen team at The Turtle Club. This position requires an individual with a passion for food and a strong background in culinary arts. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience through innovative menu development and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. Key Responsibilities Design and implement a creative and seasonal menu that reflects the restaurant's vision. Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and effective food preparation and service. Oversee food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent culinary skills with a comprehensive knowledge of various cuisines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication and organisational skills. Nice to have Culinary degree or equivalent qualification. Experience with menu costing and food waste management.
