CCC/CFY Speech Language Pathologist SLP Job near Vernon, Connecticut

Job Description Minimum 1+ years of speech therapy experience required. Licensed Speech Language Pathologist(s) needed for a clinical fellowship year or experienced SLPs with Certificate of Clinical Competence. The position is located in Vernon, Connecticut. Responsibilities Prevention, assessment, intervention, and program design integrated within the school. Evaluate communication skills of referred students and diagnose speech and/or language disorders. Perform evaluations on referred students and make treatment recommendations. Participate in or conduct individualized education plans (IEPs) and relate pertinent data for student needs. Assure placement of students in the Speech Language Pathologist program and support SLP objectives on IEPs. Schedule students appropriately and provide consultative services to teachers, parents, admins, and allied agencies to integrate educational goals into the classroom, other educational programs, and home environment. Other duties as assigned by administration. Licenses & Certifications Active State of Connecticut SLP CFY or SLP CCC License. Working Conditions Job Type: Full-Time (37.5 Hours/week).
