Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Labor & Employment Associate in Albany, New York. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of experience handling labor and employment matters in both public and private sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of federal and state labor laws and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Represent employers in labor and employment law, including compliance and workplace investigations. Conduct internal investigations into employee complaints and regulatory issues. Draft and update employment-related documents, such as handbooks and agreements. Handle employment litigation matters, including those involving insurance coverage. Perform legal research and monitor changes in labor and employment laws. Supervise and mentor junior associates and support staff. Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. 3 to 7 years of experience handling labor and employment matters in both public and private sectors. Strong academic credentials. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively across practice areas. Proficiency in labor and employment law. Strong analytical and research skills.
