Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you the flexibility to manage your schedule while working closely with school environments to deliver therapeutic services. You will communicate regularly with educational staff, students, and families through video conferencing and our secure electronic health record (EHR) system. The collaborative nature of our work permits LCSWs to exchange valuable insights with colleagues and develop creative solutions to tackle complex challenges faced by students.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document findings electronically, ensuring all notes are up-to-date and compliant with organizational protocols.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the needs of the students.

• Perform suicide risk assessments and escalate concerns as needed, collaborating with educational teams and medical professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

• Offer social work support and referrals to appropriate local resources, including community agencies and medication assistance programs, enabling students and their families to access necessary services.

• Assist in crisis intervention situations, developing immediate action plans and follow-up strategies to address urgent mental health needs.

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives by collaborating with teams to refine processes related to data collection and patient care effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on school-aged children and adolescents facing a variety of emotional and psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

• Possession of a valid Professional License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
