Work Environment\n

This is a remote position that offers flexibility while maintaining the collaborative spirit of our outpatient office. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs, assessing psychological, emotional, and social factors.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are informed by evidence-based practices and tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques. For example, you may lead sessions that incorporate CBT strategies designed to challenge negative thought patterns in patients struggling with depression.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups focused on specific mental health issues, fostering a sense of community and support among participants.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention support, addressing mental health emergencies and ensuring patient safety.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with professional guidelines and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case consultations, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development activities, contributing to the overall improvement of our practice.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mental health therapy to enhance your practice and treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Profound knowledge of mental health disorders along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Experience in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans to cater to client needs.

• Proven ability in providing both individual and group therapy to diverse populations.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport quickly with clients.

• Strong ethical foundation with sound judgment in maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficient in using EHR systems and other relevant technology to streamline administrative tasks.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to shared goals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
