Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our Rehabilitation Center in Edgewater, Florida. Here, you will benefit from a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to meaningful patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, including assessments of range of motion, strength, and functional mobility to identify specific rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities aimed at enhancing recovery and improving mobility.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and equipment, such as ultrasound therapy and electrical stimulation, to facilitate healing and restore function.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on evolving needs to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all patient interactions, evaluations, treatment plans, and interventions, in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide education to patients and their families on exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing wellness.
• Actively participate in team meetings and collaborative discussions to ensure coordinated care and comprehensive patient support across all disciplines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with residents in our rehabilitation center, including individuals recovering from various surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our patient population may include geriatric patients, individuals with neurological conditions, and those requiring post-operative rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will play an integral role in restoring independence and improving the quality of life for patients during their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.

• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
