Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a real impact supporting students’ communication skills and growth by taking on a key Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role within two middle schools near Saint Paul, MN. This onsite contract position runs from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027, and offers a dynamic setting for an experienced SLP who holds their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). You’ll have the opportunity to provide essential direct services as well as professional guidance and oversight for a dedicated SLPA, ensuring high-quality support for all students.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Minnesota
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience, preferably in a middle school setting
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to commit to the full 2026-2027 academic calendar
- Must be available for onsite services only (no remote work)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to a diverse student caseload
- Oversee and mentor a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), ensuring adherence to best practices
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in school-based multidisciplinary teams and meetings
