Step into a dynamic, contract-based opportunity working with students in a supportive school environment near Saint Paul, MN. This position runs from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027, focusing on speech-language pathology services at two middle schools. The role is entirely on-site and ideal for an experienced SLP with Certificated Clinical Competence (CCC), who is confident in both direct service and mentorship. You will play a key role by overseeing an SLPA delivering most of the day-to-day therapy while providing professional guidance and support.

Requirements

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Minnesota
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required
• Prior experience providing SLP services within middle school or school-based settings
• Ability to supervise and mentor an SLPA
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Organization and adaptability to work across multiple school sites

Responsibilities

• Oversee speech-language services for students across two middle schools
• Mentor and supervise the assigned SLPA, ensuring quality care and compliance
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student communication success
• Conduct assessments, develop and monitor progress on IEP goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state standards
• Engage in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
