Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of each resident's physical capabilities through detailed evaluations aimed at assessing strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence.
• Develop and implement personalized evidence-based treatment plans, adjusting these plans as necessary to align with patient progress and rehabilitation objectives.
• Administer a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation to manage pain and improve patients' physical functions.
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation of patient progress, treatment modifications, and outcomes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate effective communication among team members.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with interdisciplinary teams to refine and enhance patient care strategies across different specialties.
• Provide patient education to residents and their families regarding home exercise regimens, health maintenance strategies, and ways to promote long-term physical health and independence.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations, alongside industry standards, ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapeutic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Vital Motion, you will work primarily with geriatric patients, many of whom require specialized care due to age-related conditions, post-operative recovery, or chronic illnesses. Understanding the unique needs of this population is essential to delivering effective therapy that addresses their physical and emotional well-being. Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A Master's or Doctoral degree is highly preferred.
• Strong foundational knowledge of rehabilitation principles, therapeutic modalities, and assessment techniques relevant to the geriatric population.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually , complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
