Accounts Payable SpecialistLocation: Rockland, MA (100% onsite)Why This Opportunity Stands Out:Join a stable, well-established construction company with long-term growth potentialCollaborative and supportive accounting teamOpportunity to take ownership of the Accounts Payable functionFast-paced environment with exposure to additional accounting responsibilitiesCompetitive compensation and benefitsAccounts Payable Specialist Key Responsibilities:Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding and approvalsPerform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiptsPrepare weekly check runs and electronic paymentsReconcile vendor statements and research discrepanciesMaintain vendor records, W-9s, and supporting documentationAssist with month-end close and AP reconciliationsCommunicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issuesSupport additional accounting projects as neededAccounts Payable Specialist Qualifications:2+ years of Accounts Payable experienceConstruction or related industry experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsComfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environmentProficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systemsStrong communication and problem-solving skills
