In this role, you will perform vital credentialing and re-credentialing activities to ensure healthcare providers meet all industry, company, and NCQA compliance standards.

Working comfortably from your home office in the EST or CST time zones, you will serve as a key point of contact for physicians, office managers, and third parties to secure essential verification documents. If you possess a sharp eye for detail, strong data entry skills, and excel at managing time-sensitive deadlines with Excel and Outlook, this 3-month contract assignment is the perfect opportunity to sharpen your healthcare administrative expertise.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Perform provider credentialing and re-credentialing activities in compliance with NCQA standards. Maintain high data accuracy while processing applications, updating internal system records, and communicating with medical office staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process, track, and file provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
• Communicate professionally with physicians, office managers, and third parties to gather required documentation.
• Manually enter credentialing data into internal systems daily within assigned timeframes.
• Maintain personal email request queues, responding to inquiries within 3-5 business days.
• Generate and utilize Excel reports to support business functions.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent credential required.
• 1+ years of experience in data entry, medical office, customer service, or credentialing.
• strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines accurately.
