Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify the specific needs of children and families.
\n
• Collaborate on the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), tailoring plans to each family's unique circumstances.
\n
• Monitor and assess outcomes, ensuring that all interventions are effective and aligned with best practices.
\n
• Engage with families, offering guidance and support aimed at enhancing their child’s development while fostering a trusting relationship.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment methodologies to inform interventions and strategies.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, maintaining the highest standards of care and ethical practice.
\n
• Facilitate workshops or training sessions for families on strategies to support developmental milestones.
\n
• Develop and implement joint plans with families to target specific goals associated with their child's growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with children, often under the age of three, who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. By leveraging an individualized approach, the LCSW will address areas such as physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. This role is pivotal in guiding families through their child’s early intervention journey, ultimately aiming to enhance the child’s developmental trajectory and support the family unit as a whole.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required.

• Active LCSW licensure through the California Department of Public Health.
