Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct and document comprehensive mental health evaluations, aligning with school policies to assess each student's emotional and psychological status.

• Develop detailed progress notes, treatment plans, and crisis intervention strategies, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in individual and group counseling sessions, applying proven strategies to foster effective therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Perform suicide risk assessments, making timely referrals to appropriate healthcare providers when necessary, to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

• Provide supportive liaison services to families, connecting them with local resources and community agencies, such as medication assistance programs and support groups.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including education professionals and healthcare providers, to promote school-based mental health initiatives and develop policies aimed at improving student outcomes.

• Participate in training and opportunities for professional development to remain informed of advancements in mental health practices and social work methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on children, adolescents, and their families within the school environment. You will work with diverse populations, addressing a variety of issues ranging from behavioral challenges, anxiety, and depression, to more complex mental health concerns. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active and relevant state licensure (LCSW) with a minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience.

Compensation and Benefits\n
