This remote position allows for a flexible work schedule, with in-person appointments conducted at our outpatient office in San Jose, California, as needed. Our therapists typically work Monday through Friday, with core hours from 9 AM to 4 PM—however, some flexibility is expected to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate client's mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based frameworks.

• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to aid clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring all documentation reflects the highest standards of practice.

• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to foster collective supervision and optimize treatment outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources available in the community.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health practice to continuously refine and improve therapeutic approaches.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals facing mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and interpersonal issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
