Robert Half is partnering with an established and growing organization in Las Vegas to identify a Staff Accountant for a contract-to-permanent opportunity located in Summerlin. This position offers the chance to join a collaborative accounting team while gaining exposure to fixed asset accounting, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close activities. The Staff Accountant should have prior experience with Fixed Assets, completing reconciliations and preparing journal entries. The Staff Accountants responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Prepare and record journal entries
• Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, transfers, and retirements
• Support general ledger accounting activities
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and supporting documentation
• Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• Exposure to fixed asset accounting preferred
• ERP system experience required; Oracle experience is a plus
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced / demanding environment
• Team player with a positive attitude
