Key Responsibilities\n

• Design and implement individualized counseling treatment plans based on thorough assessments and client feedback.

• Conduct therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

• Lead optional group support sessions, fostering a communal atmosphere for shared healing.

• Work directly with our Content Manager to develop "Expert Insights" materials that enhance patient knowledge and community engagement.

• Provide a comfortable and non-judgmental space for clients, offering empathy and understanding while encouraging progress towards their goals.

• Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation in compliance with all confidentiality and regulatory requirements.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and obtain Continuing Education Units (CEUs), with costs covered by the organization.

• Participate in monthly peer groups, cultivating a strong support network among peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals seeking to change their relationship with alcohol, including those aiming to moderate their consumption or pursue abstinence altogether. You will need to possess an understanding of the harm-reduction model, as many clients may present varying motivations and goals. Your ability to empathize will be crucial in ensuring that each patient's needs and preferences are respected and effectively addressed.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• At least 3 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Demonstrated training or certifications in CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care are essential.

• Strong clinical engagement skills with an emphasis on empathy, respect, and motivation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus performance bonuses.
