Physician Pathology, Neuropathology (Open Rank/Track Faculty)

The Department of Pathology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) is seeking an academic anatomic pathologist who specializes in Neuropathology. Applicants must have academic rank and compensation commensurate with academic record and experience. Candidates must be board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology. Ability to sign out other specialty areas is welcomed but not required.

At the OSUWMC, Surgical Pathology sign-out is completely subspecialized allowing faculty to focus on areas of academic and clinical interest. The successful applicant will participate in clinical and/or collaborative translational research and in trainee teaching responsibilities. The Department of Pathology is a collegial and dynamic department within the Medical Center, and a world leader in the field of digital pathology.

Requirements

  • MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology (or equivalent)
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Ohio
  • Qualify for an academic appointment at the assistant or associate professor level Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience
