Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to effectively evaluate the mental health status, strengths, and needs of each patient, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide effective individual, group, and family psychotherapy.

• Work collaboratively with a diverse team, including psychiatrists and nurses, to deliver coordinated care that addresses the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

• Act as an advocate for patients and their families, helping them navigate the complex mental health care system and ensuring they are informed about diagnoses, treatment options, and medication regimens.

• Facilitate therapeutic groups, psychoeducational workshops, and discharge planning sessions to support patients in their recovery journey.

• Develop and maintain tailored treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team, incorporating feedback from patients and their families, thus enhancing engagement and adherence to treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, employing strong crisis management skills and knowledge of mental health legislation to safeguard patients’ rights and well-being.

Qualifications\n
