Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a School Social Worker
• Experience or strong interest in working within K-12 school environments
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and community partners
• Understanding of school resources, intervention strategies, and crisis response
• Compassion, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students managing academic, behavioral, or social challenges
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to design intervention strategies promoting student wellbeing and classroom success
• Conduct assessments to identify barriers to learning and develop personalized support plans
• Serve as an advocate for students and families, connecting them with community resources as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans for students with special needs
• Support crisis intervention and management protocols as part of the school team
