Hospitality CoordinatorAda Bible Church is looking for a part-time Hospitality Coordinator who is passionate about delivering friendly, warm, and welcoming guest experiences for everyone who enters our doors. Hospitality is core to what we do at Ada Bible Church, and we strive to show guests they are cared for beyond just a generic welcome. We hope to show guests they can belong to a community who genuinely loves people and loves Jesus.As a Hospitality Coordinator, you will organize and lead hospitality volunteers. These volunteers serve on a regular rotation to provide excellent guest experiences through relational hospitality and directing volunteers who serve on the weekends. This is a part-time position and includes weekend work.What you will do:Create a warm and welcoming, guest-focused environment at the Bella Vista campus, with special attentiveness given to the first-time guestRecruit, train, and develop new hospitality volunteersCoach hospitality volunteer team leads as they train and mentor new volunteersManage and distribute volunteer rotations and maintain volunteer scheduleEnsure Coffee Team volunteers have the tools and resources necessary to carry out hospitalityCollaborate with Event Services and ministry teams to plan and prepare for major campus ministry eventsEnsure all Hospitality Team volunteers feel valued (praying as a team, one-on-ones, etc.)Coordinate hospitality for weekend services and events held at an assigned campus and central eventsManage coffee bar inventoryEnter information into ROCK (database) or other designated management program(s)Collaborate with Hospitality Director and other Coordinators to continuously share improvement ideas & effectiveness/quality of hospitalityAttend team meetings and all-staff meetingsComplete or participate in assigned projects for the advancement of the guest experienceYou might be a good candidate for the position if:You naturally lead with hospitality as you interact with othersYou know how to create excellent guest or customer experiencesYou enjoy leading others to accomplish goalsYou are a clear communicator, both verbally and in writingYou are organized, efficient, and attentive to detailsYou are a committed Christian who exhibits a thriving relationship with JesusYou have earned a high-school diploma or GEDYou are available to work most weekends as well as a couple days during the weekMembership at Ada Bible Church is not a prerequisite for hire, but applicants should be willing to become members within 90 days of hire and have beliefs consistent with our statement of faith.Ada Bible Church is vibrant and growing non-denominational church serving greater Grand Rapids, Michigan.
