Salary $75,000 - $80,000 Position Executive Sous Chef – Player Dining About Levy Levy is recognized as a leader in sports and entertainment hospitality, serving major venues and events worldwide. Job Summary The Executive Sous Chef – Player Dining oversees high‑performance culinary operations that meet the nutritional, performance, and recovery needs of professional athletes and team personnel. The role partners closely with the team dietitian to align menus with approved nutrition standards, dietary restrictions, and performance objectives. Job Duties Execute Player Dining menus in collaboration with the dietitian; ensure compliance with approved nutrition plans and dietary requirements. Prepare and present food to consistently meet high quality, freshness, and presentation standards. Develop and document recipes to meet dietician and staff expectations. Provide tools and support for team members to perform their roles effectively. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen and service environment at all times. Obtain regular feedback from clients, dietitian, and players to improve service. Hold team accountable to service steps and deliver excellent guest service. Execute preventive maintenance schedule as set by the Director of Operations. Conduct daily walkthroughs of all culinary areas. Practice proper product control and inventory management. Achieve daily cost goals and budget targets. Ensure security, safety, and sanitation standards are met. Apply safety and sanitation best practices. Forecast and schedule staff to meet operational needs. Plan and order products and equipment for anticipated business levels. Maintain a positive attitude toward team members and guests. Interview, hire, train, and develop team members per Levy guidelines. Conduct regular meetings to keep management and staff connected. Promote a cooperative work climate to maximize productivity and morale. Use performance‑management tools to provide guidance and feedback. Source and purchase products requested by the dietician in a timely manner. Meet deadlines set by the dietician and team. Adapt to last‑minute requests concerning player development. Communicate regularly with the Director of Operations and executive chef. Job Requirements Culinary degree preferred. Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products. Effective communication skills with management, guests, and team members. Team‑builder capable of managing and developing staff. Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook. Proficiency with basic Internet functions.
