Employment Type: Per diem / Contract

Licensure/Certifications: BLS, ACLS (required)

Experience: Med/Surg nursing experience required; Oncology experience preferred but not required

What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care for patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses including lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, and sickle cell disease
• Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and other specialized treatments
• Monitor patients via telemetry, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to emergencies
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral IV access
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Follow infection prevention protocols and patient safety procedures
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

What You Need

• Valid Ohio RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1-year Med/Surg nursing experience
• Proficiency in IV therapy, blood product administration, and telemetry monitoring

• Hematology/Oncology experience
• ONS Certification (not required but advantageous)
• Ability to float to other Med/Surg and Oncology units
