Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the needs of assigned clients.

• Maintain meticulous documentation, including progress notes and discharge plans, adhering strictly to company policies and state regulations.

• Facilitate effective aftercare planning for clients, ensuring they are equipped with strategies and resources for ongoing support post-discharge.

• Engage with families, outside clinicians, and other referral sources to promote continuity of care and build a multidisciplinary support network around each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients dealing with mental and behavioral health challenges, including those with co-occurring disorders and substance use issues. The population served by our clinic may include children, adolescents, adults, and their families, all requiring compassionate and tailored therapeutic interventions to navigate their unique life situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in the state of New York is mandatory.

• At least two years of hands-on experience providing therapy for individuals facing mental health challenges, including those coping with co-occurring disorders.
