Principal Specialist, Contracts (Onsite)

Position Overview Principal Specialist, Contracts – F-15 APG-82(V)1 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) production programs within the Fire Control Radar Products (FCRP) program area. Location: Sunnyvale, CA. Onsite; U.S. citizenship required. Responsibilities Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain and Legal to support the Program Management Office (PMO). Own contract management and administration actions on proposals and contracts throughout the acquisition life cycle. Identify risks, assess performance requirements scope, advise management of contractual rights and obligations, and manage contracts post‑award. Manage customer relationships to meet key customer desires, interface during contract execution, advise program team on contract terms, mitigate risks, serve as focal point for all contractual matters, manage change, and drive contractual issues to closure. Qualifications University degree or equivalent with minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 3 years. Experience administering U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), including proposal preparation and/or review, contract negotiation, and change management. Experience with proposals subject to the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act (TINA). Experience with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and/or Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FPIF) contracts. Preferred: experience with production and development contracts, incentive‑type contracts such as Fixed‑Price Incentive Firm (CPIF) and Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) contracts, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), knowledge of APEX, ICMS and SAP, and existing Secret clearance.
