About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30; 19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Two years of acute care experience within the last three years License: RN license (WI or compact) required Certifications: BLS required (AHA only) Must-Have: Traveler must pass a telemetry test prior to starting. Description: This role involves working 12-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation and holidays as needed. Completion of two years of acute care experience within the last three years is required. EPIC experience is necessary. The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a professional environment. The position offers the opportunity to care for patients with complex medical diagnoses. The work setting is a fast-paced medical unit focused on high-quality patient care and medical education. The unit caters to patients with general internal medicine conditions and infectious diseases. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care. Responsibilities include blood product administration, central line care, and management of dysrhythmias. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in telemetry, insulin drip titration, and non-invasive airway management. Ability to float to other units as needed may be required.
