Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized counseling services through telehealth, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs of each client.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that promote positive client outcomes and align with their personal goals.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality services.
• Document all client interactions accurately and promptly, including case notes and progress updates, while adhering to documentation standards.
• Offer support and guidance in daily living activities, helping clients improve their independence and coping skills.
• Monitor and report on clients’ emotional states, implementing safety protocols and serving as a positive role model.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers regarding medications, ensuring clients are informed about their prescriptions and providing reminders as needed.
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to share insights and provide enhanced support to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on a diverse group of clients, including adolescents and adults facing various mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns, tailoring your counseling methods to the individual strengths and needs of each client. Your expertise in telehealth will help clients feel comfortable and engaged, fostering strong therapeutic relationships that lead to meaningful change.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or a related field.
• A valid and active license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California; applicants with associate licenses cannot be considered due to Medicare billing practices.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and telehealth platforms.
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and capable of managing a full, varied caseload.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with geriatric clients is a plus, though not a requirement.
• A background in crisis intervention and case management will be beneficial.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple client cases.
