Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations, establishing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Implement hands-on therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and modalities designed to relieve pain and enhance functional mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on exercises and self-care strategies to promote long-term health and wellness beyond the rehabilitation setting.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to discuss treatment plans, share progress, and ensure comprehensive care across disciplines.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations, including regular updates and proper documentation of treatment interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse client population, including young athletes, active adults, and older adults seeking to regain independence following injury or surgery. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
