Work Environment

This position will be based onsite and will involve direct interaction with patients in their homes, enabling a tailored approach to rehabilitation. Our facility promotes teamwork and collaboration, providing Physical Therapists with the resources they need to offer high-quality care. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which allows for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and rehabilitation needs to formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, flexibility, and strength while minimizing reliance on medications and avoiding surgical interventions.
• Design and oversee custom fitness and wellness programs to help patients regain independence and improve their overall health.
• Utilize advanced modalities and treatments, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring adaptive care tailored to evolving needs.
• Educate patients and their families on lifestyle modifications and preventative strategies to maintain physical health and prevent future injuries.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility. You will work directly with a diverse clientele, spanning various ages and backgrounds, each requiring tailored therapeutic strategies. By fostering strong relationships with your patients, you will empower them to take an active role in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• Active State License as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a higher degree from an accredited program.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care settings, ideally working directly with patients in their residences.
• Familiarity with various physical therapy modalities and techniques.
• Knowledge of current trends and research in physical therapy and rehabilitation practices.

Compensation and Benefits
