Sr. Staff Accountant

The Senior Staff Accountant supports the U.S. financial reporting process and helps ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial data. This role focuses on balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany and tax/duty accounting, complex account analysis, and the use of SAP S/4 Hana.

You'll work closely with crossfunctional partners, contribute to audits and internal controls, and help improve accounting processes through strong ownership and analytical skills.

Requirements

Prepare and reconcile tax and dutyrelated balance sheet accounts, including investigating variances and clearing aged items
Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Analyze complex accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including audit activities
Use SAP S/4 Hana for financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and data quality
Partner with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to support business objectives

This role pays between $80-100K depending on years of experience

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
5+ years of operational accounting experience or 2+ years of Big Four or enterpriselevel accounting experience
Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and complex account analysis
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
