Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM onsite
Duration: 3-month contract with potential for permanent conversion
Pay Rate: $20-22/hr

Overview
Our client is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join their HR team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position will support employee benefits administration, onboarding coordination, documentation processing, and employee inquiries. The team is fully onsite and consists of a close-knit group of 7 team members. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a designated alphabetical section of employees and handling benefits-related tasks for that group.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist employees with benefits-related questions regarding medical, dental, life insurance, leave administration, and retirement programs
• Process benefits documentation, enrollments, changes, and employee updates accurately and timely
• Maintain HRIS and employee records while ensuring confidentiality
• Coordinate onboarding and benefits communication with employees and vendors
• Support leave tracking, documentation management, and general HR administrative functions
• Provide strong customer service and assist with employee inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Perform data entry and maintain organized records and files
  

  Requirements

• Previous administrative, HR, benefits, or customer service experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is preferred, but there is no Excel assessment for this role
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
