Registered Nurse (Med Surg)Location: Las Cruces, NM. Employment Type: Full-Time. Openings: 1.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (Med Surg) to join our healthcare team in Las Cruces, NM. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support recovery, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical unitAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plansMonitor patient conditions and report changes to physiciansAdminister medications and treatments safely and accuratelyMaintain detailed and accurate patient recordsEducate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recoveryCollaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare staffEnsure compliance with hospital policies and safety standardsMust-Have QualificationsActive RN License in the state of New MexicoAssociate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required within 6 months of hireNice-To-Have Qualifications1+ year of Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) experience1+ year of overall nursing experienceRequired SkillsStrong clinical and patient care skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentStrong critical thinking and decision-making skillsTeam-oriented mindset with attention to detailEducation & CertificationAssociate Degree in Nursing (required)Active RN License (New Mexico)BLS Certification (required)ACLS, PALS, TNCC (within 6 months of hire)Work EnvironmentHospital / Acute Care settingFast-paced Medical-Surgical unitCollaborative team environment
