Job Description
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

License: Indiana license must be in hand prior to start date

Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays


Description:
Please confirm that travelers are agreeable to the shift and that all requests are provided upon submission.
Travelers must have a valid Indiana license in hand to submit.
Work setting includes Adult ICU.
The role involves respiratory care including airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer therapy, BiPAP, and CPAP.
Preferred skills include experience in trauma settings and familiarity with documentation systems.
Equipment experience with Hamilton G5 and Philips V60 is preferred.
Floating is required within the facility.
COVID and flu vaccines are required, with medical or religious exemptions considered.
Candidates should have a minimum of 18 months of experience.
Two supervisor references are required.
Compliance with local travel rules and floating policies is necessary.
Preferred skills include bronchoscopes and experience in adult critical care.
Candidates must provide a full range of respiratory services, including but not limited to, aerosol therapy and intubation assistance.
Major patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.
Responsibilities involve troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning patients from mechanical ventilation.
