Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Resilient Journey Counseling, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to identify the specific needs of children and their families.
\n
• Participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring active collaboration with families and multidisciplinary team members.
\n
• Monitoring outcomes and providing feedback as part of a team approach to enhance the child's developmental progress.
\n
• Employing evidence-based practices to develop personalized strategies that advocate for the best interests of each child.
\n
• Using the coaching model and Natural Learning Environment Practices to support children's learning and development in everyday settings.
\n
• Regularly updating families on their child's growth and providing valuable resources to help them facilitate development at home.
\n
• Ensuring compliance with all Federal and State regulations to uphold the highest standards of care.
\n
• Developing strong, trust-based relationships with children and families to create a supportive learning environment.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children, particularly infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays. You will work collaboratively with families to guide them through the early intervention process, equipping them with strategies and resources that promote their child’s developmental progress across multiple areas, including cognitive, physical, emotional, and social skills.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
\n
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut (LCSW).
\n
• A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel for occasional in-person meetings, if necessary.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to foster a collaborative spirit within a team setting.

• Proven organization and time management abilities to handle multiple cases effectively.
\n
• Commitment to the principles of Natural Learning Environment Practices.
\n
• Bilingual skills are encouraged but not required.

Preferred Experience\n

We are looking for candidates with at least one year of experience specifically working with young children in early intervention settings. Familiarity with various learning styles and adaptability in treatment approaches will be highly regarded, as will a demonstrated commitment to supporting diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
