Job Summary

As a Chef, you will ensure client and customer service satisfaction is attained by providing culinary resources and support. You may be responsible for managing the departments scheduling, discipline, and/or hiring. You may assist the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef in developing new menus, recipes, and ordering. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, entrepreneurial Culinary professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation and execution of high-volume banquet and catering events.
• Supervise and direct culinary staff during banquet events.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to company standards.
• Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures.
• Monitor food quality, temperatures, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Assist with ordering, inventory management, and proper food storage.
• Coordinate with the banquet and catering teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Help manage staffing and kitchen workflow during events.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Perform other culinary and operational duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• 3-5 years of banquet and event culinary experience.
• Customer-focused, with a friendly and outgoing personality and a genuine interest in providing excellent service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and Salesforce.
