Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Investigator State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) seeks an analytical and investigative professional to assist the EEO Office in addressing discrimination, harassment, workplace violence, and reasonable accommodation requests. The role supports training and consultative services across the organization. Responsibilities Investigate discrimination, harassment, and workplace violence complaints. Process requests for reasonable accommodation. Provide in‑person training to all levels of staff. Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting of EEO trends. Collaborate with EEO staff and external stakeholders to recommend corrective actions. Participate in meetings and prepare memoranda or reports. Minimum Requirements Less than 2 years of experience in EEO investigations or reasonable accommodation. Current California driver's license (if location requires driving). Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Desirable Qualifications Experience conducting investigations. Experience providing training and briefing staff. Experience analyzing policies, laws, and regulations. Experience working independently and managing multiple projects. Knowledge of civil rights or employment law. Current or prior experience with EEO investigations and reasonable accommodations. Working Conditions Work is conducted at 1001 I Street, Sacramento, CA with a hybrid telework arrangement. In‑office attendance is required for certain duties. Travel is required locally and statewide on a recurring basis for investigations and trainings. Salary Annual salary ranges from $46,282 – $75,312 for Analysts I and II, respectively (converted from the monthly range). New to State candidates will be hired at the minimum classification or alternate range.
