Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapeutic strategies for clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to address a wide range of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, groups, and families, ensuring to create a safe and supportive environment for open dialogue.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring timely updates to client records.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a client’s well-being.

• Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health research through ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center serves a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, as well as families in crisis. The LPC will be actively involved in interventions that serve both adult and adolescent clients, fostering resilience, coping strategies, and healthy relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is essential.
