Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments with clients, formulating diagnostic impressions and developing individualized treatment plans that address their specific therapeutic needs.

• Provide ongoing psychotherapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing a range of evidence-based therapies to facilitate discussions around their emotions, conflicts, and goals.

• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical notes via Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Participate in collaborative case consultations and team meetings to enhance patient care and discuss best practices, including attending optional clinical training sessions.

• Stay updated on continuing education and licensure requirements, adhering to ethical guidelines and integrating the latest advancements in therapeutic practices into your work.

• Coordinate with other healthcare providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for clients, recognizing when referrals to external providers may be beneficial.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Divine Mercy Psychiatry, you will work with a diverse clientele facing various emotional and relational challenges. Your expertise will be integral in supporting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. You will have the chance to help couples navigate relationship difficulties and engage families in conflict resolution, fostering healthier dynamics while aiding in their emotional healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Active LMFT license in the state of California.

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, demonstrating familiarity with a variety of counseling modalities.

• Proficient in written and verbal communication skills, crucial for effective client interaction and documentation.

• Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.

• Comfortable with technology, particularly in using EHR platforms, or a strong willingness to learn.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive compensation package with a salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Additionally, eligible employees can take advantage of:
