Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk

Compensation: $22/hr Job Overview – Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk – 34403 A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join its accounting team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering approximately 20–25 hours per week in a collaborative, low-stress office environment. The ideal candidate will have prior accounts payable or general accounting experience, excellent organizational skills, and the flexibility to assist with administrative support as needed. Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation. Prepare and process payments while maintaining accurate financial records. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies. Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries. Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional customer service. Provide backup reception and scheduling support as needed. Maintain organized accounting files and documentation. Assist with additional accounting and administrative projects as assigned. Requirements Previous Accounts Payable or general accounting experience required. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP/accounting software is preferred; training will be provided on the company's system.
