Senior Accounts Payable Specialist (Construction / Multi-Entity)

Location: Sunrise, FL 33313 (100% On-Site)

Target Salary: $26.00 - $28.00/hr | Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a high-velocity Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the full-cycle transaction stream for 50 national entities. Operating out of our Sunrise office, you will handle heavy 3-way matching, navigate complex general ledger logic, and maintain vital construction compliance documentation across an expansive commercial footprint.

Core Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle AP Management: Run the end-to-end payables pipeline for 50 regional branches utilizing an enterprise ERP system (Dynamics 365).
• High-Volume 3-Way Matching: Process and batch 500+ weekly multi-page invoices against field purchase orders and receiving logs.
• Construction Compliance: Track project risk documentation, including Florida Notice to Owners (NTOs) and subcontractor lien waivers.
• Multi-Site Job Costing: Code and allocate material expenses, equipment rentals, and hauling logs across distinct geographical cost centers.
• Field Operations Liaison: Partner with field project managers and superintendents to resolve invoice discrepancies and PO modifications.
• Weekly Disbursement Oversight: Analyze aging reports to execute weekly payment runs via checks, wires, and ACH transfers.
• Ledger Reconciliation: Perform deep-dive vendor statement audits and reconcile corporate expense accounts to back up month-end close.

Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience. Direct exposure to commercial construction, civil engineering, or roofing is required.
• Systems Footprint: Proficiency utilizing enterprise ERP software (Dynamics 365, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Sage) alongside Concur/Medius. Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) are required.
• Compliance: Practical understanding of construction lien laws, insurance verification, and subcontractor waiver management.
• Velocity: Proven capability to accurately manage a high-volume workload handling hundreds of invoices weekly.
