Location: Durango, CO Pay Rate: $25/hr Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

What You'll Do

• Collect blood specimens through venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collections
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures
• Verify patient identification, demographic information, and specimen labeling accuracy
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation
• Provide exceptional customer service while building trust and confidence with patients
• Follow all safety, quality, confidentiality, and compliance standards
• Support multiple patient service and physician office locations as needed
• Perform specimen collection and processing for both clinical and forensic testing when required

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Strong specimen collection and patient interaction skills
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Previous Patient Service Center experience preferred
• Customer service experience in a retail, healthcare, or service environment preferred
• Keyboard and data entry experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to travel between locations and work additional hours as needed
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
